What is a Pediatrician?
A pediatrician is a physician whose specific specialty is caring for children from birth to 18 years of age. Pediatricians address acute and chronic illnesses, learning disabilities, behavioral issues and the growth and development of children. Our goal is to help ensure that children grow into mentally and physical healthy, productive and happy adults.

This is the website for the National Immunization Program that is sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control. It contains the latest information regarding the recommended vaccines, vaccine safety, and the importance of immunizations. This information is the latest and most accurate official information about the various vaccines for children.

National Vaccine Program

This website is also sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control, but emphasizes more the issues of safety of the vaccines. It answers questions about vaccines causing other conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, lupus and autism. I recommend this site for answers to questions about vaccine safety.

This website is a non-governmental website designed to provide accurate information to deal with questions of vaccine safety. It is sponsored by Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. This is a hotline established by the National Immunization Program to answer questions about immunizations. It is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. (Eastern Time).
